A Company that runs catamaran/ passenger-only ferry service Korcula-Hvar-Split announced its recent acquisition of a new fast ship.
The ship, built in France, was bought recently in Singapore for the sole purpose to serve this route.
This speedy ship is much faster and larger than catamarans “Krila” and “Mala Lara” that are currently sailing on this route.
The new ship called “Krilo Express” is 36.5 m long and 7.8 meters wide. This fast ship can carry up to 270 passengers at the speed of 32 knots.
We have recently been informed by the company that owns the ship, that it will begin its sailing at the end of March 2006 instead of catamaran “Krilo”, which is currently serving this route.
