Views over Korcula archipelago while driving along Peljesac

A few days ago while I was driving by car towards Orebic I took a short video clip of passing along ‘Kapetani’ part of Peljesac. Kapetani is that bit of the Peninsula that offers truly great views over Eastern end of Korcula island including Raznjic, Lumbarda, Skoji and Korcula town.

The clip is a bit shaky as it was taken from the front seat inside the car, but nevertheless, it still shows some beautiful views – have a look:

This video reminds me of another, very similar one that I took back in December 2005. That one was taken on a flat and cloudy day from the front seat of the Dubrovnik to Korcula bus.

If I compare these two clips, the bus ride definitely offers better views over Archipelago.. which can be another reason (or excuse) to use public transport when planning your trip to Korcula. Have a look at the bus ride video to make up your own mind:
