EditaKeymasterOr if there are any other cheaper alternatives you could suggest.
There is a daily direct fast ferry catamaran from Vela Luka to Hvar and back, about 1 hr each way journey time – see schedules here:https://www.croatiaferries.com/velaluka-hvar-ferry.htmhttps://www.croatiaferries.com/hvar-velaluka-ferry.htmThis is much cheaper and more convenient option for you >> 40 Kuna one way

EditaKeymasterCurrently, there are no car ferries from Mljet to Korcula and I am not sure if Sobra to Korcula will indeed be introduced for this year. It depends of Croatian government.
The alternative route for you is to get by ferry from Sobra to Prapratno
https://www.croatiaferries.com/sobra-prapratno-ferry.htm
drive from there to Orebic and take ferry to Domnce (Korcula):
https://www.croatiaferries.com/orebic-domince-ferry.htm
Here is a ferry map : https://www.croatiaferries.com/maps/split-dubrovnik-islands-ferry-map/January29, 2017 at 2:35 pm in reply to: Travel from Dubrovnik to Korcula for a couple of days then onto Split #22543

EditaKeymasterI am just planning my trip to Korcula in late July. From Korcula I am planning
to go to Bol. If I rent a car what is the quickest way?
I understand there is a foot passenger only Catamaran which goes to Milna which
helps but would need a car ferry. Do I have to go back to the mainland
and drive up the coast or can I go via Hvar?Hi Paul, you would need to drive up the coast to Makarska and take car ferry from there to Sumartin on Brac island – see schedules here:
https://www.croatiaferries.com/makarska-sumartin-ferry.htm
This would be the quickest way by car…January4, 2017 at 9:15 pm in reply to: Travel from Dubrovnik to Korcula for a couple of days then onto Split #22539
