My family and I are going to Korcula for Easter next year.

We will have spent a few nights in Dubrovnik before coming to Korcula and I would love your advice on where abouts on the island we should stay.

Our children will be 4 and nearly 2.

Having spent a few days in a town do you think we should stay in a village or is Korcula town completely different from Dubrovnik?

Also, will ferries to Korcula be running on the Friday before Easter?

Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

    Best wishes,
    Rachel

Korcula Town is much smaller place than Dubrovnik.

Most of the houses that offer accommodation has terraaces, gardens or/and patios, mostly with nice views, so I believe your family can have nice stay in town – no need to go out of the town.

Additionally, if you stay in Korcula Town you don't depend on any transport.

So, I would suggest you to stay in the town on let's say 5-10 min walking distance from the main square – in the areas such as Sveti Nikola or Cvjetno Naselje:

Ferries will not be running for Easter – you woud need to use bus – have a look at this topic:
