What is the best way to get from Venice to Korcula? I would like to take a ferry along the coast from Venice to Korcula. Unfortunately, I can not find any info about this ferry.
Now, I wonder if Venice to Korcula is possible by bus or train.
Can I travel from Venice to Korcula by ferry?
If yes, what is the timetable and where I can get tickets?
Get on the ferry from Venice to Pula, and from Pula get on the ferry to Zadar. From Zadar take a bus to Split and from Split ferry to Korcula. Detailed info is here.
Or, you can take a train or bus to Pesaro, Cesenatico in Italy, and a ferry from there to Mali Losinj, and from Mali Losinj, take the ferry to Zadar.
From Zadar carry on to Korcula as explained above. It can be an enjoyable trip just a bit longer than usual.
A long time ago there was a ferry from Venice but not anymore. There are ferries from Venice to Istria – Pula or Venice to Rovinj, and Porec but not all along the coast to Korcula.
Another option to reach Korcula from Venice is a flight to Dubrovnik airport and getting on a ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula. Flights operate in the summer only.
There are no trains available. You can also get on the bus to Trieste from Venice and from Trieste, take a bus to Rijeka and roll down the coast. But it takes a very long time. You can also consider Ancona to Split or Bari to Dubrovnik ferry but you have to travel from Venice to south Italy for these options, check this map:
Thx everyone, I will now try to explore the suggested routes.
