Two families on holiday to Korcula in July 2006

  Hello !

  We are two norwegian families that are going to Korcula for approx. 6 days in July 2006. The four children are in the age of 12-14 years.

  We have never been to Korcula before and need some advices. : :

  We would like to stay in an area where we can walk to the beach in the morning, and then in the afternoon have walk around in a nice town and have a good dinner at at a small restaurant, have a glas of wine or do a little shopping. We also want to try water sport activities like windsurfing etc. Since we are traveling with children we are not out for nightclubs.

  Could Korcula city then a good place to stay for us Or should we choose another place

  We want to rent 2 separate apartments located in the same building, each suitable for four persons. We would prefer two rooms in each apartment and Air condition.

  Could somebody please recommend some suitable apartments 🙄

  We are also interrested in places / activities that could be of a special interest for children in the age of 12-14 years. (in addition to staying on the beach) 😆

  Yes, you can get all of that in Korcula Town. Also I would reccomend Lumbarda too.

  Daily films in local open-air cinema can be good idea ( )

  Often, there are children’s films that are screened at 9pm and other films (not sutable for kids) at 11 pm shows.

  Also, try to involve them at KPK – local swimming club – they have sessions at mornings and afternoons with ocasional competitions too.
