trip to Croatia

We are planning a trip to Croatia for the last week in April (the week after Easter) and would like to travel to Korcula and Mljet and Dubrovnik. We arrive in Dubrovnik on Easter Sunday (April 24th) and plan to go immediately to Korcula for 2 or 3 nights. Then we would like to travel ONE WAY to Mljet on either Tuesday, April 26th or Wednesday, April 27th. We would like to spend 1 or 2 nights in Mljet and then return to Dubrovnik for the final couple of nights before departing Dubrovnik on the morning of Sunday, May 1st. There are 4 of us, all adults.
We are mostly interested in a relaxing trip to enjoy the natural beauty of Dalmatia, small historic towns, hiking/walking, the coastline, and maybe biking and kayaking. We know that it will be too early to be sunbathing on beaches! Is our itinerary a good one for our interests?
Will there be availability of accommodations and restaurants before May 1st? Is the weather normally comfortable for walking and hiking?
Do you have any suggestions for us?

Will you be having the Moreska dance on Mon. June 10?
Will I be able to get a room , prferably in a private home, when I arrive that afternoon?
Is there a bus from Korcula to Vela Luka daily? What time back & forth? Price?
Can one explore the Vela Spilja or is “off limits” to the public?
