    Hello,

My family will be in Korcula in late August. We want to take a day-trip to Mljet. Is it best to book a “tour” or can we do this on our own

What is the best way to go to Mljet from Korcula

    Hi Anna,

The easiest way to reach Mljet is with ‘tour’ organised by local travel agent. It will take you from Korcula Old Town to village Pomena ( on Mljet) near the entrance to National Park.

Altenatevly, you can drive ( take a bus) from Korcula to Trstenik (Peljesac) and then take ferry to Pomena (Mljet).

For tour to Mljet from Korcula have a look at :
    http://www.korcula-croatia.com/mljet.htm

Also, have a look at Map Mljat page for location of places:

I have just been asking around and in one agency, atlas, found out that the trip from the town Korcula to Mljet, and the entrance to the national park and the monastery and the guide, so all except the food cost 270 kn, around 38E.

the trip starts around 9 and you are brought back to Korcula at around 6PM

We would like to enquire whether it’s possible to travel one way from Korcula to Mljet Island between 16-21 May 2010.
Does the one way ticket (the one that costs 110 Kuna) include a tour of the island

Is it possible for us to go to Dubrovnik from Mljet Island during this same time period

    Many thanks,
    Ngee

The complete schedules for day trips to Mljet are not available yet.

Once you are in Korcula, check with local travel agents to see when next day trip is available.

To go from Mljet to Dubrovnik in May (unless the day trip Mljet-Dubrovnik is available) you have to use this ferry:

This summer I will spend some days in Korcula and I plan to have a day trip to Mljet (Pomena)

Could you tell me from where the boat is leaving in Korcula

Could you give me information on the travel agencies doing this day trip (which day of the week, time schedule)

    Thanks a lot

We are four people, coming to Korcula for holidays in July.

We would like to plan a daytrip to Mljet from Korcula on thursday, July 2nd.

We have seen on your website that there were no more ferries ; but that you could organize a boat trip.

Would it be possible for this date

    Best regards
    Marie
