Ann DublinGuestHello,
I am having problems getting into the ferry timetables.
Can you tell me if it is possible to get from Hvar town to Korcula directly on 18/5/. If not are there regular buses from Vela Luka to Korcula ?
Thank You for any assistance

AnonymousGuestMy husband and I are visiting Korcula on August 23. We arrive in the afternoon by ferry from Orebic, and unfortunately have to leave already the next morning to catch up with the rest of our trip.
I am a bit nervous about not getting on the ferry as there appears to be only one per day going to Hvar, at 06 in the morning. Could you please let me know:
– Does this ferry sometimes sell out, and reject passengers? This would be 06 Saturday morning 24/8.
– Is it true that tickets go on sale only 24 hours prior, and would I have to go to the exact ferry stop to purchase them? It looks like we may come into Korcula from Orebic at a different quay if we take the 14:30 ferry – will we have to travel to the other one to secure tickets?
– How early do we need to show up for the 06 departure?
Many thanks in advance for your help!

travelerParticipantI’m planning to travel to Croatia in the spring of 2014, and I’m gonna rent a car.
But I cannot find a ferry from Korcula to Hvar that takes cars, besides people on foot.
Can anybody give me some information about that?September16, 2013 at 9:31 pm #22430

AnonymousGuestI was planning to visit Korcula for a few days from Sunday 20th Oct to the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd Oct (I fly back to UK from Dubrovnik that evening).
I will be on Hvar for a few days beforehand, but I am confused as to whether there is or isn’t a catamaran or ferry service between the two islands?
Is there a service, and does it run on Sundays?
I first came to Korcula in 1982 and long to return and show my wife how wonderful it is. I hope you can help.
