  i wish to make a reservation for camp kalac but i can find no contact info for them, and i have rang two phone numbers (0038520726336 and 0038520711182) with no answer from either.

  does anybody know how to book

  Unfortunately, I have no other tel no’s except one you have.

  They should be ok no’s – try early in the morning, as they don’t work late in the afternoon.

  I will be visiting Korcula at the end of July this year. Despite numerous phone calls I haven’t been able to get in touch with Camp Kalac, is it likely that all the camping places will be full when I go or will I not be able to get a place without a reservation

  Hi Primrose,

  I understand your frustation about reservations for camp Kalac, as we have lot of complains about the same issue.

  I personally believe you will be able to find a place, but of course, without reservation, there is no guarantees.

  I would suggest you to keep calling ( early morning is the best ) …

  hello and good morning,

  could you tell me if it is possible to rent a TENT

  for use on Korcula island, we are travelling around

  and we are not carrying a tent with us, so do you

  know of a place we could rent or buy (then we could leave behind)

  Camp Kalac is the only campsite in Korcula Town.

  It is within reasonable walking distance ( 20 min) from Korcula Old Town.

  Also is it easy to get from the Airport in Dubrovnik to this campsite
  We would like to hire a scooter for the week and not sure how we would go about this

  we are a family of four with a small camper (5,5 m long) we have visited Korcula a few years ago and fell in love with it.
  Now that our youngest daughter is 4 we have decided to spend our summer holiday on your island with our camper, but there seems to be little choice of camp sites. We would like to book from 08/08/10 to 21/08/10. Could you please let us know if it possible to book ahead and the characteristics of the campsite. The campsites that are suitable for wind surfer are very windy Does the sea have a lot of waves where is windy Are the campsites shaded

  I’m planning to stay in Camp Kalac in late August, but I would rather not book it as I won’t be sure when I’m arriving until fairly close to the time. Is there a possibility we won’t be able to find a space, or should it be fine

  jacke, it is difficult to say – august is pretty busy month, so campsite may be fully booked by the time you arrive. my advice would be to book the pitch as soon as you know your dates and have a plan b in case you need alternative accommodation.
