Dubrovnik- Korcula and Korcula – Dubrovnik route:

there is now a passenger ferry every day on this route:

    https://www.korculainfo.com/travel/dubrovnik-korcula/
    https://www.korculainfo.com/travel/korcula-dubrovnik/

the best option is to check your dates on the Jadrolinija Ferry page: https://www.korculainfo.com/jadrolinija/

there is also daily catamaran service from Korcula to Hvar and back – see this page :

    https://www.korculainfo.com/travel/korcula-hvar/

    https://www.korculainfo.com/travel/hvar-korcula/

also, there are ferries from Hvar to Vela Luka too – again refer to Jadrolinija pages.

After I visit Korcula, I plan to go to Hvar.

    My question is the following:

In April, is there a ferry or catamaran or hydrofoil from Hvar to Split, which leaves Hvar late afternoon or evening?

I will not have a car, so it is fine if the boat is only for passengers.

    Thank you.

All ferries leave Hvar in the morning, except, sometime, large coastline ferry (that usually sails twice a week in April) stops in the afternoon in Stari Grad (Hvar Island) and sails to Split from there.
All ferries to/from Hvar are listed here:
    https://www.find-croatia.com/ferries-croatia/ferries-hvar.php
And here is timetable for April of coastal ferry that sails Thursdays and Sundays in the afternoon from Hvar to Split:

In April, does the Krilo catamaran, from Korcula to Hvar town, usually leave from the West Ferry or the East Ferry in Korcula
    Thank you.

It depends of the weather conditions. Usually, it is West pier, in front of Hotel Korcula.

I would like to visit the island of Korcula.
My question is: could you let me know if there is a way of traveling by ferry to Dubrovnik, if yes, how often do ferries operate At the same time, I will also like how many ferries a day operate from Korcula to Split.

There is no daily ferry from Korcula to Dubrovnik, but there is a daily bus :

The best way is to rely on bus that leaves Dubrovnik every day at 3pm, arriving in Korcula at 6.15 pm.
Ferries are , at the moment, suspended for that period.

    Hello,

My fiance and I are planning to Honeymoon in Croatia in July and I’ve read and enjoyed your blog about Korcula. Two quick questions I thought you might be able to help us with. First off, are there any companies that operate short 2 day sailing trips? We really want to sail but do not have enough time to take a week long trip and was hoping we’d have some options for just a few days.

Secondly, we are trying to go from Korcula to Hvar but the ferry times do not seem to coincide with our plans. Is there any other way to get to Hvar w/out having to go all the way to Dubrovnik that is convenient and reasonably priced? we only have a short amount of time and want to see lots of things while we are in your country but I was surprised to learn the ferry’s don’t run daily between korcula and hvar in the high season.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Adam

Hi Adam, not that I know of – There are some rent-a boat agencies that rents boats including sailing boats for day or two, or more, but they dont provide skippers (to best of my knowledge)

There is a early morning ferry catamara that sails every morning to Hvar – chek here : https://www.korculainfo.com/ferries/ferry-catamaran-korcula-hvar-split/

Are there other boats/ferries/catamarans that go from Hvar to Dubrovnik in August than jadrolinja

How frequent/ easy is it to travel from Hvar to Dubrovnik 😮

Krilo and Jadrolinija ferry companies runs ferries that connects Hvar and Dubrovnik.

You can also use ferry + bus options to reach Dubrovnik too.

There are frequent buses 24/7 running along the coast between Split and Dubrovnik, so as long as you get to mainland at any point ( say Drvenik, or Makarska or any other place) you will be in Dubrovnik within next couple of hours.

You can also take catamaran from Hvar to Korcula, stay here day or two and proceed to Dubrovnik by morning bus ( 6.45 am) or afternoon ferry if one is running on youd day of choice.

    Good luck 😆

I would like to come in Korcula for holidays and have a day trip to Hvar and Dubrovnik. Is it possible What would be the best way of travelling

Yes Fran it is possible, the best way for day trip from Korcula to Hvar is morning + afernoon ferry >> departure 6 am return 5 pm, it is enough time to see Hvar town.

For Korcula to Dubrovnik daytrip you can also use ferry or bus or combination of both >> the earliest departure is 6:45 from Korcula and latest 4:30 pm from Dubrovnik which gives you plenty of time to explore the town.
