We are a french family of 4 people and we have planned to stay on Korcula island during the coming summer.I have already booked a slot at Autocamp Mindel close to Vela Luka at the end of July, and I am currently looking to book tickets for the car ferry as well.Looking at Jadrolinja website, it seems that direct connections between Split or Dubrovnik or Rijeka and Korcula island are suspended for summer 2015 (only passengers connections, none with a car…). Could you confirm me this information I have seen that a way to join Korcula island with the car is to take the ferry in Orebic : can you confirm this is possible to join Korcula with my car usingthat connection If the answer is yes, then I plan to join Dubrovnik to Bari and then join Korcula via the feery in Orebic. Many thanks in advance for your answer and clarifications. I wish you a good day Olivier

Looking to get from Split to Korcula (we are staying in lLumbarda) and wondering what the 10:30 am car ferry from Split to Vela Luka would look like on a Sunday in August.

Since we have a car we do have the option of driving to Ploce and hopping across the peninsula.

Looking for advice on what people would suggest.

Another option would be forgoing one night in Split and taking the 5:30 car ferry arriving on Korcula a night early. Suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hello!
I am going to Korcula on 13th June. I will be driving in the morning from Plitvice to Split. Can you please tell me when I can get a ferry with a car and how I can book tickets. I have looked at the different timetables but I am not sure I am getting all the departure times right. Also can I book or is it first come first serve.
I will be going to Mlili after Korcula. Do I have to take the ferry back to Split or are there other options for cars in June
Thank you and so looking forward to visiting Croatia agaon after 25 years!

Hi Laetitia, the only car ferry that goes from Split to Korcula island is this one :
    https://www.korculainfo.com/ferries/ferry-split-vela-luka-lastovo/

To book it you would need to try it on jadrolinija.hr website

Alternatively, drive from Split to Ploce and take ferry to Trpanj, drive to Orebic and take ferry to Korcula (Domince)

    here are the schedules:
    https://www.croatiaferries.com/ploce-trpanj-ferry.htm

    https://www.croatiaferries.com/orebic-domince-ferry.htm

you can not reserve place on these ferries, it is first come first serve service.

to go to Mljet from Korcula, take car ferry Korcula (Domince) to Orebic, drive to Prapratno and car ferry is there to take you and your car to Mljet.

    here are the schedules:
    https://www.croatiaferries.com/domince-orebic-ferry.htm

    https://www.croatiaferries.com/prapratno-sobra-ferry.htm

i hope you will enjoy your holidays 🙂
