Camping on Lastovo

  Hello there! 8)

  We are considering to go camping on Lastovo for 2 weeks in June 2006. Is there any campistes on the island

  We couldn’t find anything about camping on Lastovo at all :

  😀 Island of Lastovo has, for time being, only one camping site : it is Camp Skriveni in Skrivena Luka: The camp “Skriveni” is situated on the south of the Lastovo Island , 6 kilometres from the village Lastovo. It is surrounded by the 2 inlets: Skrivena luka, one of the biggest and most beautiful inlets on Lastovo and Uska, narrow and deep inlet with beautiful and isolated beach and light blue sea. 8)

  Hi!

  I want to go to Lastovo this summer. I know how to get on the island (I am arriving by plane in split an take the katamaran to the island) but how is the transfer on the island itself

  Last year I was on Mljiet (bad bustransfer) and on Korcula (except on Weekend perfect bustransfer) and I can’t find any informations about busses on Lastovo.

  Is there any chance to move around without a car I am searching for a very quiet place near the sea. Is it interesting to go to the campingplace

  I am not quite sure yet if I want to go with tent or take a room. Last year it was so cold, that we had to take a apartment after one week camping.

  Can you help me

  Mljet as well as Lastovo don’t have good bus connections. I am not sure about timetables, but my guess would be that one would have bus available upon arrival in Ubli by katamaran for at least Lastovo ( town).

  Without car or scooter or bicycle, it will be much difficult to go around.

  It is difficult with buses at Lastovo almost never bus

  That are quite bad news.

  I think we have to change our route. Perhaps we stay on Korcula a make a visit to Lastovo … but I think that is very difficult, too. (we have to walk, like everytime – its hard without a car in croatia)

  Now i know that there is camping. Is there a place for caravans i think that this Island is too small for car and caravan. it is good place for pepole with tents.

  No problem at all with taking caravans at Lastovo.
