Susur! Festivalof wordsthat has been entertaining summer crowds on the Croatian island of Korcula for two years already was presented in its winter edition on the30th December 2013.in Belgrade.

This summer event dedicated to literature and art was presented as a part of regular gastronomic and cultural program of thecultural center GRADcalled deli Monday.

The event also featured three acclaimed authors, Marko Pogacar, Igor Stiks and Srecko Horvat, who presented the newly publishedbookJugoton is burning!by Pogacar, former guest of Susur! festival.

This collection of personal essays on music that marked one generation brought together these three authors who are connected not only through their writings but also through their activism. Shortly after the beginning of attainable conversation on literature with the organizers of the Festival, the literary trio engaged in dynamic verbal dribbling on different topics that impressed all gathered lovers of written word and sharp humor.

With over 300 shared portions of traditional Korcula dishes Pasticada and Klasunias well as sounds from the musical laboratory ofDJ Evox and Tamarinsky, the event itself attracted a large number of visitors of different generations who in this manner experienced Susur! Festival firsthand.

As we’ve learned, many of the visitors were intrigued to visit the Festival next summer, in August, in order to search for the authentic Susur! feel on the squares and in the streets of Korcula.
