This summer event dedicated to literature and art was presented as a part of regular gastronomic and cultural program of the cultural center GRAD called “deli Monday”.

The event also featured three acclaimed authors, Marko Pogačar, Igor Štiks and Srećko Horvat, who presented the newly published  book “Jugoton is burning!” by Pogačar, former guest of Šušur! festival.

This collection of personal essays on music that marked one generation brought together these three authors who are connected not only through their writings but also through their activism. Shortly after the beginning of attainable conversation on literature with the organizers of the Festival, the literary trio engaged in dynamic verbal dribbling on different topics that impressed all gathered lovers of written word and sharp humor.

With over 300 shared portions of traditional Korčula dishes Pašticada and Klašuni as well as sounds from the musical laboratory of DJ Evox and Tamarinsky, the event itself attracted a large number of visitors of different generations who in this manner experienced Šušur! Festival firsthand.

As we’ve learned, many of the visitors were intrigued to visit the Festival next summer, in August, in order to search for the authentic Šušur! feel on the squares and in the streets of Korčula.
