Proizd Island and its beaches are well known for their crystal clear waters. If you are visiting Korcula, this small islet is a great place to spend a day exploring, sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling.

Getting to Proizd

You can get to Proizd from Vela Luka. There is a taxi boat (ferry) from Vela Luka to Proizd (below photo) that takes you in 35 minutes to this island. The boat departs according to the timetable (see below) from the center of Vela Luka (see map at the bottom of the page) and arrives in the bay of Perna at Proizd island at the pier in front of the restaurant.

Beaches on Proizd

The clearest water in the whole of Adriatic. Perfect spot for a stop in order to swim and do some snorkeling. Beaches here include:
