Some good news is coming from Jadrolinija, the largest Croatia ferry company – its newly acquired catamaran Vida (ex Fjordprins) will serve the Split-Hvar-Korcula ferry route from June this year.
Catamaran Vida was built as ‘Fjordprins‘ in Norway in 2011 by Brødrene Aa, a world leader in the construction of fast ferries made of carbon fiber composites. The 295-passenger vessel is designed for long-route operation with well-equipped accommodation areas and high luggage capacity. The length of the vessel is 38.5 meters, the width is 10,2 meters, and speeds up to 33 knots. ‘Vida’ is Jadrolinija’s 50th vessel worth about 35 million HRK (5 million euros).
