Kneza / Kneze is a small village and bay on the northern shore of Korcula island located between Korcula Town and Racisce facing Peljesac peninsula (Viganj). The bay is sheltered by two small islets Vela and Mala Kneza.
The bay, with houses dotted around the seashore, has several small pebble beaches. There are also a couple of restaurants/konoba as well as a shop for basic supplies.
The bay is popular among sailors as a safe mooring spot as well as among the walkers for a hike from/to Pupnat via a lovely hilly path. There is a yearly held boat race starting from the bay (in June). The village is connected with a regular daily bus route from Korcula and Racisce.
A lot of houses offer apartments and rooms to let (check here what is on the offer).
Click to see a panorama of the beach – a small pebble/shingle beach situated in the western part of the bay. Clean and clear waters, nice views over to Mala and Vela Kneza islets. No natural shade so bring a parasol or beach shelter if you intend to spend a day here in the summer heat. Check a map of other beaches on the Island.
