All data for 2021 confirmed the increase in tourist traffic in this part of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

However, is expected that in 2022, with the opening of the Peljesac bridge, the ferry line between Ploče and Trpanj will be in decline.

On the ferry line Orebic – Korcula realized 80 percent of traffic in 2019

Last year, 187 625 passengers were transported on the state ferry line 614 Orebić-Korčula, which is twice as many as during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and 80 percent of the traffic in 2019.

Of these, 151,068 passengers were transported on the line “Zvijezda Kvarnera” by the Zadar company GV Iadera Line, which has been operating on that line since July 1 last year.

In the first half of the year, the ships of the additional concessionaire of the utility company Bilan from Orebić, Lovor and Tamaris, operated on that frequent ferry connection across the Pelješac Channel, and 36,257 passengers were transported in that period.
