Windrose for Winds around Korcula

I recently did some research among local people and on the bases of that research I created this windrose as reference for all of you interested in local names of winds around Dalmatia (as well as Korcula) :

So, from now on when referred to winds I will use following terms :

I still dont’ get it why there is no Bura in this windrose , so as soon as I work that one out, the post will be updated 😉

About windrose (from Wikipedia): A compass rose, sometimes called a windrose, is a figure on a compass, map, nautical chart or monument used to display the orientation of the cardinal directions — North, East, South and West – and their intermediate points.

    Bure kao vjetra u stvari i nema na ruzi vjetrova. Uglavnom puse iz razlicitih smjerova zavisno od lokacije.
    Da bi lakse naucili ruzu vjetrova, koja je u stvari internacionalna, pokojni Kap. Kobojevic nas je naucio izreku u kojoj svaka rijec pocinje sa prvim slovom vjetra.
    Pocevsi sa sjevera ide ovako;
    TEZAK GORAK KRIZ SVAKOM ONOM LUDOM POMAMNOM MORNARU.
    FYI Levant na busoli je oznacen krizom (krizarski ratovi ?).
