Korcula Towers

Korcula Old Town, located on small peninsula, is still surrounded by 14th century thick stone walls and towers that were built in medieval times for defense against passing-by enemies. The town used to have 12 towers. However, at the present, there are only sven remaining towers that still stand on the edges of the town.
