06/07/04 - The Winner of the Competition for Free Holiday in Korcula organized by by Kvartet Gorgonzola and Marco Polo Festival is announced today ! It is Ms.Anita Andreis Zganec. She got free accommodation for 5 days in Korcula and free entries at Marco Polo festival.Congratulations & well done 02/07/04 - Amy Jo and Kvartet Gorgonzola together in studio in Korcula - American actor and singer Amy Jo Johnson was in Korcula last week and she made some demo music in Studio REMIX. Amy liked relaxing atmosphere in Korcula as well as in studio so she will probably come again to do her whole album here, together with Korcula musicians Sandro Bacic, Vinko Didovic and Sretko Silic. 01/07/04 - Last night there was a Fancy Dress Party for the celebrating the half New Year on Korcula Banje Beach. Party started around 7pm and was going on until early hours of this morningThe party, which is a traditional event going on in Korcula Town for years now, was organised by local carnival society ' Bonkulovic'. |

Flinn wrote in his article on travelling to Croatia: "Because
I arrived in Croatia a week before the ferries began
their full summer schedule, my itinerary forced
me to omit the island of Korcula. This broke my
heart during the 40 minutes I spent docked there
aboard the ferry. A miniature Dubrovnik, its main
town is a medieval grid of streets and buildings
made of square-cut limestone. It looked romantic
as all get-out. If I'm ever in this part of the
world again, I'll make a special point of going
there."

article on travel from Britain. It's saying : "...Holiday
