- Exhibition of ceramic plates in Korcula - Exhibition
of about 70 ceramic plates made by artists from
5 diferrent countries are currently on display at
Gallery 'Maximilian Vanka' at Korcula - Sveti Nikola
street.Exhibition will be on until 14/08/04 - opening

01/08/04 - This was another day of walking around KORCULA
with Tina and group of french walkers/trevellers,
exploring Pupnat, Kneze, Viganj Kuciste and Orebic.

Biokovo, island Hvar, Peljesac and Kneze bay. Breathtaking
views were gifts we got all along the way
28/07/04 - Walking group from France was joined yesterday
by webmistress of this web site (Edita) to do a
walk from Pupnat to Korcula
Old Town. Our guide was Tina, experienced
local walking guide from Korcula, who took as for
17 km long walk.
I
got so excited about all of this and decided to
join them again tommorrow for walk from Pupnat via
Kneze to Peljsac - Viganj, Kuciste and Orebic. If
you email me tommorrow and I don't respond immediately,
you know now why is that. Stay tuned, new photo

- INVITATION : Korcula Cultural Centre
invites you to CONCERT of well known croatian sopranist
SANDRA BAGARIC accompanied by piano ARKO DOMITROVIC.
The concert will be tonight at Cathedral Sveti MArko
at 9 pm. Entry fee : 40 Kuna - Tickets
are available 1/2 hour prior to performance at the
cathedral entrance.
24.07.04 - This afternoon in Korcula is very hot
and calm. There is almost no wind at all. The temperatures
are high and people are looking for some shelter
in shades. On this left photo, desperate wind surfers
are waiting for the wind to blow to continue with
fun.

24.07.04 - Large schooner 'Royal Clipper' is today in the waters of Peljesac Channel. Royal
Clipper' is the replica of original schooner built
back in 1906. This one is built only 4 yrs ago in
polish port Gdansk. It's crew consist of 110 people.
There are about 250 people on the board, all gone
to visit Korcula Old Town

- Korcula Tonight - Korcula sunset was again tonight orange and red
as usual at this time of the year. This photo was
taken from Sveti Nikola street at around 8 pm, seconds
before the Sun went behind the edge of Peljesac
peninsula. Island of Hvar can be seen in the distance... Click

- Korcula Today - Hot
and sunny day, with pleasant south wind which blown
today kept most of the wind surfers on the beach
and out of the sea. Peljesac Channel was instead,
ideal for lazy afternoon soak, swim and chat. Left
