that were left over after moderate half an hour

 24.08.04 - STORM in KORCULA - >I
took this photo (on the right) just a seconds before
the storm last Saturday night in Peljesac Chanel.
Within next few minutes tiny white boat on the photo
was involved in terrible tragedy and the life of
the local man was lost. Click

- We are very pleased that Korcula
ART SUMMER FORUM ( Ljetni Likovni Forum)
was very successful. There were all together 45
people doing either t-shirts or paintings. Udruga Mravci , the organisers of The Forum, will do it again
next summer. Visit Udruga Mravci's web page www.mravci.hr to see photos from The Forum as well as other info
about their other activities. ( p.s -I was there
too - and I made this T-shirt titled ' Vicious Circle'.

August 2004 - Association of visual artist
from Korcula (ULUK) is inviting you on their 8th
annual exhibition. The private view is tonight at
9pm at Korcula Town Museum. Webmistress of this
site, Edita
Marelic, has one of her painting exhibited there

August 2004 - Another evening of wonderful
sunset in Korcula's Peljesac Channel. This photo
is taken (again) from Sveti Nikola, street at Korcula
Town, seconds before sun decided to leave us until
tomorrow. The wind was dying down and we were expecting
calm and warm night... Click

- Swimming competition for members of KPK
- a Swimming club from Korcula, was held tonight
at local swimming club's pool in vicinity of Korcula
Old Town. There were about 190 compettitors - children
from 6 to 16 yrs olds, members of this swimming
club. In the summer these children have twice a
day swimming training sessions at local open-air
swimming pool.

(top photo) and Mario Todorovic (right ) - a 16 year old student from Korcula, currently
one of the best swimmers in Croatia, who amazed
spectators with his swimming style and speed.
