Bishop's Treasury of Korcula
Some of the greatest treasures of St Mark's Cathedral are found inside. The Renaissance ciborium above the altar was done by Marko Andrijic. The remains of St Theodore are held within the cathedral. Above the main alter is a 16th Century painting by Tintoretto, and in the southern nave the "Annunciation" by the same artist. Also of interest are some sculptures in the baptistery, including pieces by Ivan Mestrovic. Next door to St Mark's Cathedral is the Abbey Treasury of St Mark in the Abbey Palace, which contains a collection of art, jewelry, furniture, and archives. Map of Location of Bishop's Treasury

Bishop's Treasury of Korcula - bishop's treasury located on the same main square Piazetta. It consists of small but amazing collections of fine and sacral art. Set of paintings, including a Portrait of a Man by Carpaccio, Virgin and Child by Bassano, couple of Tiepolo studies of hands and some Raphael drawings, and a tiny Madonna by a local Renaissance artist, Blaz Jurjev of Trogir. There is also a Leonardo da Vinci sketch of a soldier wearing a costume that bears a resemblance to that of the Moreska dancers.One of the main attractions in the town of Korcula is the 15th Century, Gothic Renaissance, Cathedral of St Mark (Katedrala Svetog Marka). The beautiful cathedral, on Korcula's main square has a Romanesque portal created by Bonino of Milano, with carvings of Adam and Eve on either side and on top is a statue of St Mark.
