Getting from Mljet to Korcula 2013

ferry1.gifThere are just a few options to travel directly between Mljet and Korcula and public transport is only possible during the summer season between the two islands (indirect travel via Dubrovnik is available all year round). It is also easy to take day trip to Mljet from Korcula.

Advice: In the peak season, if possible, either purchase your tickets for boats or buses the day before or the morning before your departure, as there are often long queues and tickets sell-out fairly quickly.

IMPORTANT NOTE The below information is the old schedule, Jardolinija have not yet posted their 2013 schedule.
Coastal Car Ferry between Mljet (Sobra) and Korcula Town (summer season only 01.06 – 30.09)

Tickets can be purchased at the Jadrolinija office in Mljet and Korcula.

Mljet to Korcula (01.06 – 30.09) Thursday and Sunday Departs 10:25, Arrives 12:40

Korcula to Mljet (01.06 – 30.09) Tuesday and Saturday Departs 14:00, Arrives 16:15

Foot passenger “Nona Ana” catamaran between Mljet (stopping at Polace and Sobra) and Korcula Town (summer season only).

Tickets can be purchased in Mljet (Polace and Sobra) at the port, in front of the boat, 30 minutes before departure.

Tickets can be purchased in Korcula at the Korkyra Info Tourist Agency.

NOTE: tickets can only be purchased on day of departure.

Transfer by high-speed rigid inflatable water taxi-boat operated by the local tourist agencies. This service usually operates once or twice a day through-out the summer, leaving Korcula in the morning and returning from Mljet in the afternoon (times vary). One way tickets cost about 150 Kuna per person (including luggage) and a return ticket costs about 250 Kuna.
