Camp Kalac is the only campsite in the Korcula Town.

It is on reasonable walking distance ( 20 min) from Korcula Old Town.

I am looking for a campsite on Korcula or island around this area and camp Kalac prices look like its about 2 euros per night. Is this correct? also is this an nice island to go to as I have never been to Croatia before.
Also is it easy to get from the Airport in Dubrovnik to this campsite?
We would like to hire a scooter for the week and not sure how we would go about this?
If you could give me any information i would be very grateful.

Yes, scooters can be easily hired from various local car and scooter hire shops..

we are a family of four with a small camper (5,5 m long) we have visited Korcula a few years ago and fell in love with it.
Now that our youngest daughter is 4 we have decided to spend our summer holiday on your island with our camper, but there seems to be little choice of camp sites. We would like to book from 08/08/10 to 21/08/10. Could you please let us know if it possible to book ahead and the characteristics of the campsite. The campsites that are suitable for wind surfer are very windy? Does the sea have a lot of waves where is windy? Are the campsites shaded?
