Donje Blato

The field of Donje blato is situated on the eastern edge of the island of Korčula, between the town of Korčula and the village of Lumbarda. Donje blato is typical karst feild surrounded by hills with length of about 1.5 km and width of about 0.5 km. It is separated from the coast of Adriatic sea by Pelegrin hill.

Donje Blato is good place to go for walk in any part of the year although in winter and rainy periods Donje blato gets flooded and it is the time when people like to go for walk around there as at that time the area looks pretty dramatic with various colours of grass in the landscape and reflections in water.
