The company “Samoborka” from Samobor (a small place?near Zagreb?),?has become the new, 80% owner, ?of hotel company “Hum” from Vela Luka.?

The Hotel Company Hum, which ownes all Vela Luka hotels, was first privatised about 10 years ago. At this occasion, “Samoborka” bought all of its new shares from private person who initially aquired Hum’s shares.

According to Croatian media, the new owners are enthusiastic about developement of Vela Luka tourist industry and are planning further investments including renovation of all Vela Luka hotels to the level of 3 star hotels.
