New Flowerpots at Plokata in Korcula

As a part of continuos struggle to make Korcula more pedestrian friendly place, couple days ago, new and large flowerpots appeared at Korcula’s main square Plokata.
Flower pots are still empty without any soil or flowers.
And boy, they are ugly too
I wander, how comes that somebody can come to the idea to use these kind of pots to put them on the main square of the town that is proud of it’s stonemason heritage!? Perhaps we run out of stones?!
My only hope is that once flowers overgrown that ugly reddish/brownish edges of the pots, it might look bit better.
Or perhaps, pots can be painted white, to “blend” a bit with the surrounding.
Or, even better, we can get rid of them completely and instead, replace them with a nice stone-made pots.
Finger’s crossed, somebody in charge will realise this soon…
In the meantime, when in Korcula, just ignore them and turn your head to other side.
Good luck
