    Please advise. Thank you.

    Hello Todd,

The listing of agencies that sell tickets ( listed bellow timetable) is here:

    http://www.korculainfo.com/ferries/catamaran-korcula.htm

In my opinion, with new vessel which have capacity of 400 it is unlikely to expect it to be overbooked.

We will be traveling to Croatia this summer (June 2008). We fly into Split airport and plan to head directly to Hvar Town via passenger ferry. A few questions:

    1. How far is the ferry from the airport (how long is the trip)?
    2. Does the ferry still go directly to Hvar Town from Split and is it a 1 hour ride?
    3. Are ferry tickets still 100 kuna per person roundtrip for ferry ride from Split-Hvar Town-Split?
    4. Is there a ferry schedule available for transportation times during June 2008?
    5. Can ferry tickets be purchased in advance on the internet or must tickets be purchased by phone?
    7. Is there a bus, taxi or car service that provides transportation from the Split airport to the ferry and from the ferry to Split airport?

    Thank you!

Jon: Yes, you buy ticket once you arrive at the Split harbour.
It is unlikely ferry catamaran Split to Korcula will be sold out – it should be no problem.. If that happends, you can always take other one to Vela Luka and then take bus to Korcula..

Hello. We will be in Split in mid May. We would like to visit Hvar on Wednesday 14 and next day move on to Korkula. It seems to be possible with your company; catching the catamaran on Wed @4pm from Split to Hvar; and next day catching the cataraman from Hvar to Korcula @5:10pm.

Would you kindly confirm if our understanding is correct? Thank you in advance.

We would like to travel from Dubrovnik-Korcula-Hvar-Split, spending about 3 days on each island. Do we need to buy individual tickets for each leg of this journey (ie Dubrovnik-Korcula, then Korcula-Hvar and then a final ticket for Hvar-Split) or is there one ticket that we can buy that will allow us to get off and back on the ferry?

  • 31

We will be arriving in Split Airport around 15.30 on Friday 11 July. Is it likely that we will make the 17.00 ferry?

Do I need to book a ticket in advance or can we buy one at Split harbour for one of the ferry/catamaran services when we arrive?

    Thanks for your help.

  • 33

    June 12th, 2008 21:22

Shane: If you are lucky enough that your flight is not late, you can make it to 5pm ferry. You can not buy tickets in advance, but at the ferry / catamaran once you arrive. Alternative is to take a bus that leaves Split at 1am (1 hr after midnight) and arrives in Korcula at 6am.

I’m arriving at Split airport on sat 28.june around 18.00, going to Hvar. Is it correct that my only option is to take the ferry that leaves at 20.30 to Stari Grad? Do you know if there will be a bus to Hvar Grad waiting there at that time? I hoped that ther would be a catamaran or somthing fast going directly to Hvar Grad but that is not an option is it?

I see that people say that the last catamaran is at 17.00. But isn’t there a catamaran going via Hvar to Vis leaving Split at 18.00..? I’m not gonna make it to this perticular boat, just wondering.. :)

    Hi edita!
I join to Marko question. And more: I’m one of the bike travel enthusiasts, and I’m going to travel on Dalmatia in skip from island to island manner. Unfortunately, many of local ferry connections is designated only for foot pasengers… And I have another question: are there (at all) any other boats, ferry, etc. which can takes bikes?

    July 10th, 2008 06:54

    Hello Edita!
The reason I’m asking about the bikes on catamaran is the followoing: we are staying on Vis for a couple of days. Then we want to go Korcula without going back to Split. From Vis to Hvar there is only a catamaran for example. Can we take that boat with bikes? Marko

  • 39

    July 10th, 2008 07:00

Marko/ABYS: It is hard to definetly answer your questions. It depends of decision by crew of particular vessel, depending how much space is left, what are weather conditiones etc.. If you pack your bike flat, you have more chance to be accepted. Also, if you come early and negotiate you might be accepted even without packing it flat if there are space available.. there is no definite answer for this. Good luck :-)
