Korcula corker

Lesic Dimitri Palace, descibed as ‘Korcula corker’ has been featured in yesterday’s Sunday Times:
Croatia’s coastline is cute, but the seaside megahotels aren’t.
The Lesic Dimitri Palace, opening next month, should redress the balance a little: a local family has spent four years meticulously renovating an 18th-century bishop’s residence and medieval cottages, creating a six-room hidey-hole tucked away in the old town of Korcula.
It has original carvings, beams, balconies, wells, even original kitchen sinks — plus a non-original, but rather lovely, spa and private yacht. Doubles start at £172
