I was checking some ferry timetable on Jadrolinija’s ferry website, and spoted new announcement about 40% ferry discount for Ancona-Split-Korcula ferries!

This is what it says:

” In the period from 01.07. till 12.09.2005, when simultaneously buying tickets for the voyage Ancona to Split and Split to Korcula as well as on the return voyage Korcula to Split, Split to Ancona, a discount of 40% is granted on the valid price for transport of passengers and vehicles on the line Split to Korcula and to Split. This discount will only be valid when passenger with arrival from Ancona will continue the voyage on the same day (Mondays and Saturdays) with a transfer on c/f Liburnija departing from the port of Split to the port of Korcula, and on the return voyage when departing from the port of Korcula to the port of Split with the c/f Liburnija, and at arrival in Split will continue the voyage on the same day towards Ancona.

In the period from 01.07. till 12.09.05, a discount of 50% is granted only for deck passage ticket on c/f Liburnija, just on the route Split to Korcula (line 1b and 6a, i.e. departures from the port of Split on Mondays and Saturdays at 16.45 h), or on Korcula to Split (line 5a and 6a, i.e. departures from port of Korcula on Mondays and Saturdays at 12.20 h). ”

I must say this announcement sounds bit confusing ( obviously no stop-over allowed) , but I still think it is important to highlight this cheap ferry sailing posibility…
