We arrive at Dubrovnik by plane at 15.30hours. We shall miss the 1600 boat to Sobra. Can we get by public transport from Dubrovnik to Prapratno or Trstenik in time to catch the evening boat?

Hi Susan,
Last ferry from Prapratno to Sobra leaves at 20.30 and there is no any transport available from Dubrovnik which would take you to Prapratno at the time of your arrival, so unless you want to hitch-hike from Doli ( crossroads to Peljesac) to Prapratno, I would recommend you to overnight in Dubrovnik and go to Mljet following day.
Latest bus for Trstenik leaves Dubrovnik at 3pm too.

We are interested in the ferry to go froma Peljesac to Mljet, We would like to know if there is a ferry from trstenik to Polace or Pomena in august month. What is the horary of this ferry?

According to jadrolinija.hr it seems that ferry from Trstenik to Polace is not running this year…
Your only option would then be ferry Prapratno - Sobra : http://www.korculainfo.com/mljet/transport/timetable-ferry-peljesac-prapratno-sobra-mljet.html

We are planning to visit Mljet on the end of August. I found the timetable of Prapratno to Sobra. But I did not find return timetable. Is this ferry for cars too? Is it needed booking before?
