Construction of Dubrovnik to Peljesac section of motorway starts
According to yesterday’s info by Hina, contracts on the construction of the 29.6 kilometre Dubrovnik to Doli (near Peljesac Peninsula) section of the Zagreb-Dubrovnik motorway and nearby roads were signed on Monday at the future construction site of the motorway hub outside Dubrovnik.
The investment, worth 3.67 billion Kuna is expected to be completed within 30 months.
Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and some other government officials attended yesterday’s ceremony of signing the agreements.
Once finished, this section of motorway will significantly improve road travel betwen Dubrovnik and Korcula.
