Works starts on new indoor swimming pool in Korcula
A new 40 milion Kuna public indoor swimming pool in Korcula is now under way and the new 33-metre, eight-lane indoor pool with 400 spectator places is expected to be finished by the end of 2010.
A new 40 milion Kuna public indoor swimming pool in Korcula is now under way and the new 33-metre, eight-lane indoor pool with 400 spectator places is expected to be finished by the end of 2010.
A 19-year old Korculan swimmer Mario Todorovic, a memeber of Croatian relay team (Gordan Kozulj, Vanja Rogulj, Duje Draganja) took the silver medal, finishing in second place in the men’s 100m medley relay at the European Swimming Championships in Eindhoven yesterday.
According to the announcement of the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development , the construction of the new Olympic size indoor swimming pool in Korcula will start in 2008 and is expected to be finished by 2009.
