Bilin Zal Beach Lumbarda Island Korcula
Beach Bilin Zal Photo Gallery - Lumbarda - Korcula Beach Bilin Zal is a small, sandy beach on the eastern shores of Lumbarda. It is located about 4km from Korcula Old Town and is connected with Town by regular bus service. Bilin Zal beach is very popular and very busy in the summer time, crowded with tourists from town as well as from Lumbarda. Locals are using this beach too, especially if they have a young children. There are couple of cafes / restaurants close by, so one can have some food and refreshment on the beach too. You can reach this beach by taxi boat too. Bilin Zal is a beach that is popular with locals sailing by at their boats from Skoji Islands, and doing short stop-over for quick swimm or drink.
Importan Note : If you are adventurous enough, you can rent your own boat from locals and get for day-trip to Skoji Islands though we must warn you to be very, VERY careful when sailing around on your own, as sometimes, there are quick and unpridictable storms that are sudden and very powerfull, which coud be very, very dangerous. If you decide to go for trip on your own, always keep close to the shores, within archipelago, and don't go to the open sea... |
